� Red Fort : This erstwhile capital fortress of Mughal empire still symbolizes the political centre of Indian republic; Indian Prime Minister addresses the nation from the ramparts of this majestic fort. Built in 1638, it houses numerous precious monuments in its complex.
� Qutub Minar : This highest brick minaret in the world was build way back in 1193 AD. Named after a Sufi saint, this 73 m high tower comprises of five distinct stories. One 7 m iron pillar in the complex is said to be much older, belonging to Gupta Period (third and fourth century AD.).
� India Gate : This 'Arc-de-Triomphe' was built to commemorate 70,000 soldiers who fought for the British in World War I and lost their lives. Measuring up to 42 m, this structure serves as a backstage of any important event or as a mast head of the city.
� Raj Ghat : The cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi - Raj Ghat - still radiates the message of truth and non-violence. You can easily sense the the aura of the great leader in its ambiance. Gandhi Memorial and a museum are also located nearby.
